Explicit Consent Text for the Processing of Health Data

This text is separate from the KVKK Notice. Please read that notice first. Under Article 6 of Law No. 6698, health data is special category personal data, and the data controller Yiğit Taşkın (Taşkın Yazılım) processes it in the Ninja Spor app only with your explicit consent, given for a specific purpose, on an informed basis and of your own free will.

1. Which data

• Birth year and gender
• Height and weight
• Body measurements you enter (weight, body fat percentage, waist, hip, chest, arm and thigh circumference)
• Resting heart rate and heart rate values from your workouts
• Injury or limitation information (for example knee, lower back, shoulder) and your notes about it
• Your answers to the pre-exercise readiness questions (for example heart condition, chest pain during exercise, dizziness, chronic illness, regular medication, bone or joint problems, pregnancy, recent surgery) and your "my doctor has cleared me" statement
• The pain level you report after a workout

2. Why

• To personalise programs safely to your age, level and limitations.
• To switch to a cautious (safety) mode based on your readiness answers: we show a "talk to your doctor before you start" screen and recommend only low-intensity programs until you confirm your doctor's clearance.
• To suggest lowering intensity, or stopping and seeing a professional, when you report pain.
• To show your progress charts and to estimate calories using your weight.

These operations do not constitute diagnosis or treatment. Recommendations are produced by fixed rules; no artificial intelligence is used.

3. Who receives it

Health data is stored on our rented server (VPS) located in Türkiye, managed through Laravel Forge. Health data is never shared with ad networks (including Google AdMob) or with any third party for marketing purposes, and it is never sold. It may be disclosed to authorised public authorities only when required by law.

4. Consent is optional

Giving this consent is entirely up to you. If you do not, you can keep using the App: health information is not requested, the body measurements feature stays off and you are offered cautious beginner programs.

5. How consent is given and withdrawn

• In the App, consent is given only by ticking a separate checkbox that is not pre-ticked, and the time of consent is recorded.
• You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings > Privacy and consents. When you withdraw it, your health fields and body measurements are deleted. Withdrawal applies from that moment onwards and does not make earlier processing unlawful.
