1. Not a medical device
Ninja Spor is a fitness and exercise tracking app. It is not a medical device; it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it does not replace advice from a doctor, physiotherapist or other health professional. Programs, tips and the Ninja character's messages are general information for healthy adults.
2. Talk to your doctor first
Before starting a new exercise program, talk to your doctor, especially if any of the following apply:
- You have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma or another chronic condition.
- You have felt chest pain, dizziness or fainting, or have shortness of breath at rest.
- You are pregnant or have recently given birth.
- You have a joint, bone or muscle injury, or recently had surgery.
- You take medication that affects your heart rate or blood pressure.
- You are over 65 and not used to exercising, or you are under 18.
The readiness questions in the app help you notice these situations; they are not a medical assessment. If you answer "yes" to any of them, the app suggests low-intensity programs, but the decision to exercise and its responsibility remain with you and your doctor.
3. Stop if something feels wrong
Stop exercising immediately and seek medical help if you feel chest pain or pressure, severe shortness of breath, dizziness, palpitations, nausea, sudden severe pain or unusual fatigue. In an emergency call 112. Telling the app that something hurts only lowers the intensity of future workouts; it is not a substitute for medical care.
4. Measurements are estimates
Calories, training load, pace and distance are estimates. GPS accuracy depends on your phone, the signal and the environment. Do not use these values for medical decisions.
5. Exercise safely
- Warm up, use proper form and increase intensity gradually.
- Train in a safe environment; when running or cycling outdoors, watch traffic and wear a helmet on the bike.
- Drink water, rest enough and listen to your body.
- Use equipment as intended and check that it is in good condition.
6. Responsibility
You use the app and do the exercises at your own risk, within the limits set out in the Terms of Use. How your health data is processed is described in the Explicit Consent Text.
